I've had more losses than successes when dividing
Beschorneria before the pups have roots of their own.
In any case, this plant divides and reestablishes
better if done with warmer weather, as the roots are
slow to grow during wet winters, and the plant can rot
out. In your case, with the deed already done, I'd
suggest potting them in a very fast draining mix and
keeping them in warm shade for several months until
they do form some new roots.
I have had good take of rootless divisions when done
in middle of summer.
