[medit-plants] Re: to those already subscribed . . .

Oh, so sad to hear!  But as I recall, Gay always referred to herself as 'ancient' from the time she joined our group.  Many of the links to her writings on the internet seem non-functional at this point, but I did find this site where someone is gathering up her writings:
http://kibbenjelok.com.au/history-of-kibbenjelok/
Apparently this page was created by the new caretaker of Kibbenjelok, a property of the 'wrinkly gardeners' (Gay and Kees Klok).  There is even an option to stay at there!

As I become more 'ancient', the idea of what I have created on the internet becoming 'non-functional' does haunt me.  As a young man, I imagined myself a career 'in print' (mainly as a graphic artist).  I always felt that books to which I would I contribute would still be sitting on a shelf somewhere, just like the books I came to treasure from years gone by.  Internet publishing is another matter entirely . . .

I don't think so, Sean. There was an obituary notice for a Gay Klok in Tasmania last year.

Hi Kay -

And good to hear from you as well!

Gay Klok is still subscribed to the OLD list, so she might join us here if she is still active on that e-mail.

Olivier! And remember Gay Klok in Tasmania? I subscribe to the Facebook pag=
e of the present owners of Kibbenjelok and enjoy hearing about the restorat=
ion of Gay and Kees' gardens. I will let them know about this list.

I am, of course, from California myself, but since the inception of this di=
