Oh, so sad to hear!  But as I recall, Gay always referred to herself as 'ancient' from the time she joined our group.  Many of the links to her writings on the internet seem non-functional at this point, but I did find this site where someone is gathering up her writings:

Apparently this page was created by the new caretaker of Kibbenjelok, a property of the 'wrinkly gardeners' (Gay and Kees Klok).  There is even an option to stay at there!

As I become more 'ancient', the idea of what I have created on the internet becoming 'non-functional' does haunt me.  As a young man, I imagined myself a career 'in print' (mainly as a graphic artist).  I always felt that books to which I would I contribute would still be sitting on a shelf somewhere, just like the books I came to treasure from years gone by.  Internet publishing is another matter entirely . . .
