Cheiranthus allioni
Epidendrum (Crucifix orchid)
Lychnis arkwrightii 'Vesuvius'
bearded iris 'Quito' or 'Oktoberfest'
potentilla
If it is available, look at the Flame Pea from Western Australia,
Chorizema cordatum. The pea-like flowers are stunning, combining
violet-pink and orange in each blossom (orange dominant). It grows to 4
feet, though.
Anigozanthos 'Orange Crush'
My favourite orange-red flower is the reliable long-blooming pelargonium.
I will not suggest Lampranthus aurantiacus, dwarf Lantana, or Physalis
franchetii.
