I suggest you teat the seeds as one would treat peppers. Rich
humus-based soil, constant moisture and an average germination temperature
of 75F. Some peppers, like the "flea-pepper" or chiltepin, require a soak
in saltpeter (10 to 30% Potassium nitrate) to germinate. Other members of
the tobacco family (Solinaceae) like Belladonna, require a soak in
gasoline, believe-it-or-not. These unusual methods supposedly rince away
germination inhibitors coating fresh seed.
