Dear Geert (and any other medit-plants members looking for plants in
Europe),

Your best bet for finding any plant available in Britain is that
invaluable guide, the Plant Finder, published by the RHS. It is published
annually and has a (nearly) comprehensive list of any plants available in
the UK. I use it regularly to get hold of rare plants, and
often come across varieties that aren't easy to get hold of. 
Unfortunately my copy is at home, so I can't look
anything up for you, but you can get more information from their website:-

I understand that there are similar books covering Holland and Germany
(the German one is called something brilliant like Der
Pflanzeneinkaufsfuhrer - I love German words!) but I haven't seen either
of them.
