This reminds me. All this rain has cause the Lupins and the poppies
here to go into bloom as weel. Its mainly the poppies right now. But i
cant wait for the lupins. An empty lot near our *K-Mart* its usually
awaysh in blue when the lupines flower. About Asclepias, the native
Asclepias on Fremont Peak are wonderful. The strangest looking natives
ive seen. They seem to draw these large metallic green wasps ( they are
at least an inch and a half long with a two inch wingspan!).The Wasps
are beautiful and dont seem to bother people.
AND the local Coast Live Oaks are sending out bright green
leaves now. The willows have their Catkins on too.
