RE: taxonomy

how about a colour theme, all reds or all whites or reds and blues...?

pseduo cacti spp. plants people think are cacti but aren't?
(California would be a great place to collect these)

toxic plants with a twist, ie plants that people see every day
that they wouldn't even dream were toxic?

Carnivorous plants?

Plants with no leaves? (and aren't cactii)

minature spp. from Genera that normally produce giant trees?

ferns or mosses

fruit or cereal varieties (hort and Ag students sometimes have to collect
variety specimens, a friend of mine still has a wonderfull collection of
wheat varieties, they'd look stunning mounted on his wall)

some of these may be to hard, but heh its not my assignment
let us know what you decide.

cheers, rod
