I'm on another list where jpeg file attachments are a problem. We solve it by suggesting that the person send an email describing the jpeg file and reason for potentially sharing (identification, pretty picture, and so on). The person authoring the email then asks that people email him or directly if they want to see the file and it's sent to the personal email address, not the whole list. This has worked very well for us after some iniital getting used to. Carol
