Hi folks -
I'm realizing the a talk I'm giving this Saturday has not really been
announced to the MGS group, much less Medit-Plants.
Empire Nursery in Santa Rosa has recently been bought by a MGS member,
Marshall DeLeon, who is turning this long-standing large nursery around
toward something more climate appropriate. In line with this, he asked if
I'd give a display board talk I'd given recently at Sloat Garden Center.
Basically, my talk is a brief overview of what this mediterranean climate
stuff is all about and why we should care. I've had some good feedback
about the talk and have enjoyed discussing this topic with the public. If
any of you would like to attend (Saturday, May 12, 10am) it would be fun to
meet you there
