Plant ID needed


Hi Krzysztof,

The picture looks like salsify to me, Tragopogon porrifolius. This appears
from time to time in my yard. I'm not sure whether it is the same
plant that's sold in  markets. The long  black root, like
a thin black carrot is the part that's eaten. I've been served it and
it's quite good, but I think it's a bit tricky to prepare.
