You don't mention when you will be in Los Angeles, but our local branch of
the Mediterranean Garden Society is sponsoring a tour of four private
gardens on Saturday, June 2nd from 1-4 with mediterranean refreshments
afterwards. Judge Hall's garden that John MacGregor (of this list and the
lavender list) manages is on the tour (it's been featured on our Victory
Garden television show). I believe they are all in the San Marino
(Huntington Library) area.
