Sudden Oak Death in Q. agrifolia

I'd like to respond a bit better to Barry's inquiry on SOD. The symptoms
on Q. agrifolia are not so much a "red bledding," but little beads forming
on the trunk about 10' up. There are many things that attack oaks so the
dead leaves on the branches are probably something else. It's not a
symptom of SOD. But, it's good to be observant since SOD is in Monterey
county.

hope this helps,
bridget
