For New Orleans, Louisiana (USDA zone 9), where the
hot and humid weather dominates from April to
November, and permanent plantings appear to be based
on expected lows around 22F.

SERISSA (Serissa foetida)
Remarks:
1) May be cold damaged in severe winters, mid to low
20's.
2) Scale insect
3) May become weedy in appearance after well
established.
4) Shrub to 2 feet, leaves ovate to 1/2 inch long,
flowers white, 1/2 inch in diameter, leaves
odoriferous when crushed.
