Attract Bees

Robin Corwin asked for some quick reminders of plants that attract bees.  Fancy she should ask, we were just out in the garden and really had to back away from a large planting of Heuchera (Coral Bells) it was so full of big black bees.  Sounded like a symphony orchestra.  My garden is really full of bees, several varieties of bees.  So I also suggest Iris, salvias, poppies, borage, lavender, any and all herbs, lilac, Deutsia, Philadelphus, hebe's,  fruit trees,  not blooming yet, but the Buddleja's attract their share.  That should be enough suggestions to help you start remembering.  Carolyn in Los Gatos
