RE: California Poppies

If they've bloomed and seeded, then sounds like they might be doing what comes naturally - dying off for the summer.  In the hills, they disappear every year about this time (usually a little later but it's been really dry).  If you let them throw their seeds, they'll be back in masses in the spring.

Dear All,

Can anyone tell me how to stop what is happening to my California Poppies?  They suddenly turn a sort of lime green, and in a few days flop over and die as if they can't get water or food.  I changed locations and have the same problem in the new location. The stem of the plant looks fibrous and dry.

Thank you.
