Re: any experience with Galvezia?

Galvezia speciosa (from the Channel Islands of
California and Guadalupe Island of Mexico) blooms best
in sun, in well-drained soil with little to moderate
water. in fact, it can be neglected like few other
non-succulents I've grown. Deadheading will keep it
blooming, but it tends to floriferousness anyway.
Galvezia juncea (from Cedros Island of Mexico) has
been tricky in my climate, San Francisco, probably
because it needs less water and more heat than we can
provide. It may also be frost-tender but that's not a
problem where I grew it.
