Choose varieties bred and selected in climatic regions similar to your
own for best performance and flowering. With breeders at work in Ohio,
Florida, Georgia, Maryland, the Carolinas and point between there and
Cape Blanco there is ample room for great variation in performance; esp
with deciduous and double vars. - at least in my experience.

The press given to daylilies is that they're very easy to grow in most
conditions. Yet the two that I have rarely bloom. Both are small
varieties
and one is deciduous. They're in part shade but get enough sun.
Any ideas about what might encourage them to bloom more?
