Re: Quick-growing perennials fillers

I sometimes use the following (and would include self seeding annuals) for this purpose:  Hunnemania fumarifolia, Trachelium caeruleum, Eschscholzia spp & cvs, Erysimiums, Cerinthe, Cosmos, Salvia sclarea & argentea, Coreopsis grandiflora.

Subject: Quick-growing perennials fillers

Does anybody grow quick-growing perennials as temporary fillers in the landscape while the choicer materials are slowly filling in?  And then yanked them in a year or two.

If so, what have you found to be quick and easy?

Thanks.
Joe
