A big thank to everybody for the help in
identifying my Bulbine frutescans! A delightful plant and great
news as it is really suitable for our conditions.
We have a major problem here in Spain as often plants a
given a local name or a very generic name such as 'its an
Aloe'. I have some excellent Aloe which I was told were
Aloe Arborescens because of the flower but now I am not so
sure???. (Some plants are are taking some years to
flower??)
Its so frustrating as most people (expat Brits) want
instant gardens and the garden centres are not at all interested in real
Mediterranean gardening.
