Hello folks --
Thanks for the lawn advice -- I'm still mulling it over.
Meanwhile, we are thinking of moving to LA in a year, and I am taking
cuttings of favorite plants just in case. My collection of artemisias are
looking forward to it! I'm wondering about lavenders, though. Do they do
well there? I particularly wonder about L. dentata. Mine here in Oregon
wilts when dry, but it had a traumatic (root bound) childhood <g>.
I've heard that when grown from seed, they make a tap root. I know from
experience that they are slow from seed -- is it worth it? I'd appreciate
all advice, experience.
From the wetlands...
