Re: Slug control with copper strips

I saw an alternative slug deterrent using copper pennies in recent Organic 
Gardening issue. Coins have to be circa 1980 or older to have enough 
copper content. Suggestions was to glue coins to sides of potting 
containers. Colors to lovely green patina and looked very attractive on 
glazed pottery. I've been putting aside old pennies to try it out.
