Thanks for the information. It makes sense. I doubted that a wire
would be broad enough to produce much of a reaction. Actually, it's
amazing that the 1/4-inch copper tubing seems to work (so far). Even
if it works okay, I wouldn't recommend the tubing to most people. I
only used it because it was what I had. I haven't priced tubing
lately, but it certainly looks as if the copper stripping is cheaper.
