I recently saw a new product which, as I recall, was sort of like
copper-impregnated, plastic benderboard. It definately was NOT sharp;
whether or not it works is another matter. I think I saw it in the
garden-supplies section at PayLess Drugs, right next to the snail-poison
pellets.
