My aunt-in-law uses this method in her garden, successfully, as far as I
know. All you need to do is go out in the morning and empty the grapefruit
halves into your handy Slug Bucket O'Death (I use a bucket of salt water
and never remove the slug and snail bodies...really gross, I know, but it
works and it satisfies my nasty revenge streak, too).
