I am intrigued by all this snail and slug talk. We have cherry slugs which
start creating devastation in mid summer, and I find myself avoiding plants
that they especially like... not easy.
Brings to mind a suggestion by an animal lover as to the way to control
Australian dingoes (wild dogs) which create havoc with lambs and calves in
the outback areas of Australia. She (bless her) suggested all the male
dogs be caught and desexed. Perhaps this could be done with all the male
snails ... on second thoughts perhaps snails are hermaphrodite... in this
case they would all have to be caught and desexed. We seem to be back to
the half grapefruit suggestion....
It's easy to see I'am bored with work and couldn't resist my say!!!
