Hi Barry - 

Palms in general move pretty well.  The main challenge is the size and
therefore overall weight of the specimen.  But there are companies who
routinely move very large specimens into new installations with a minimal
root ball.  Palms tolerate this since they readily regrow roots from
the trunk base, and often these specimens are planted a little deeper
than previously to encourage this.

I do not know about the Queen Plam specifically.  Perhaps one of the
internet palm experts (there are several web pages devoted to palms)
might be able to answer that question for you.  Let me know if you
need help finding one of these people - I know a few here in California.
