Re: Those slimey slugs and snails!

Hello.

I sincerely thought that they'd resent crawling along on their faces (or
whatever) in sharp beach sand. Or avoid chewing leaves that had been
sprinkled with the stuff... I really did... 

But outside of the fact that they go through almost as much beer as
human beings, That seems to be working well at doing them in...
Fortunately, I never throw *anything* out, so there were nearly enough
catfood cans to serve as their watering holes. Very new at this, but I
thought if it's raining, that taping bamboo skewers up from the sides by
wrapping with a single peice of tape afford one the opportunity to
gently wedge a plastic drink lid in between them for a roof. Couldn't
find the duct tape, again, but the masking tape is still holding.

I'm sure I saved enough on those premade "slug saloon" things to pay for
an entire plant order or two, by the way...
