Yes David, Lavatera maritima is from Mediterranean origin. It ca be found
in the wild in the south east of France (Cote d'Azur), though it is rare.
I don't know about Pericallis.

I'm trying to track down the origins of two plants that I have.
Lavatera maritima - which I suspect may come from the Mediterranean
region and Pericallis lanata (Senecio heritierii) which might come
from the Canaries or similar. Can anyone confirm this or 'put me
right' ?
