Re: Origins


Thanks to those who have replied to this, it would seem that my
guesses were more or less correct, however I needed to be sure.
Lavatera maritima (bicolor) is a rare native of the south of France,
also extending to the Balearic Islands, Spain and Italy.  Pericallis
lanata (once known as Senecio heritierii) is native to the Azores and
Canary Islands with possible introductions in Madeira and as far east
into the Med as Sardinia.
