Heidi, I am on the Med. plants list as well, and share your love of Chilean
flora, and have a love for the folkways also. I just received this bit of
news regarding affairs in Chile, which I am hoping will interest you enough
to pass along to tour colleagues, although you may wish to be circumspect
about *where* you send it.....It may appear to affect a small and distant
group of folks, the Mapuche nation, but it really involves us all:
