RE:Attachments: pro/con


I would like to add to the above discussion.

I recently sent a large attachment to the list.  The majority of reponses 
were favourable but I now realise that I caused a problem for many members. 
Several members gave me helpful suggestions about how to deal with sharing 
visual information with others. The most useful was to post the picture or 
pictures on the personal web space supplied by my service provider and to 
then advise members that it was available there.

Which I did and which seems to work very well,  for those of you that want to 
have a look at my garden ,Mediterranean style in South East London, and were 
not able to do so when I  posted it as "Hallo" can do so now on.

It will take a little while to load as I was also advised not to reduce its 
"virtual" size as this would  mean a loss of detail.
