More La Nina effects

This has been a spring of surprises!  The cool weather and longer duration of the rains has brought two of my Leptospermum scoparium to new heights.  I didn't know that the L. scoparium 'Helene Strybing' would bloom twice in a year, but it is literally covered with pink and white single, glorious blooms, such that there is scarcely any appearance of foliage.

Next to it is a L. scoparium that is white (whose cultivar name I don't know (does anyone?)) and beautifully fragrant.  Also *covered* with blossoms.  I didn't realize it was fragrant, but this year it's delicate, sweet fragrance fills the immediate area. They are quite a glorious sight together.   What a treat!
