The book is
Bulbs for New Zealand Gardeners and Collectors -Jack Hobbs and Terry
Hatch (Godwit 1994) ISBN 0-908877-37-4
I actually know both the authors and can affirm their vast knowledge.
Jack Hobbs is the Director of the Auckland Botanic Gardens and Terry
Hatch is a nuseryman specializing in bulbs. He grows a very fair number
of the bulbs in the book (including lots of your Ornithogalum).
The book has a colour photo for almost every plant described and I use
it a lot.
Your reply came through as general message to the group, so you must
have sent it right.
It is a good friendly group isn't it?
