Hi William--
--We always put our wine pressings in the compost heap, in several
layers. Unless yours are totally broken down or processed in some
sophisticated way, I wouldrecommend that you use them in the same way. 
Otherwise the remaining sugar would attract wasps, etc. Not to mention
the smell.
