Poppies, anemones, tulips, fritillaries, geraniums, narcissus, bee orchids,
alliums and star of Bethlehem among the grasses... In the shadier patches:
cyclamen, crocus, colchicum (autumn), iris, grape and other hyacinths. I don't
think you can go wrong with native bulbs-at least that's what I see here in
Greece. In summer most everything turns parched, but hollihocks, snapdragons
and datura still hold up to the heat.
