you get the sign for the pound?
I couldn't get Alt
0128 to work at all but here are a few euro signs
pasted in from Word doc. made using Einion's Ctrl+Alt+4,
followed by the pound sign for you to play with:
€ € € £££
Thank you Nicholas
for the words on Paulownia - I saw a 10m
tree in full flower on television here three years or so ago and have
hankered after it ever since. I can't remeber what part of the
country it was in, but the old lady interviewed said she had planted
it about thirty years earlier. I 've noted your tip about rubbing out
some of the buds in the spring and will have a careful look at mine
when it comes into growth. Alternatively, I might encourage my
daughter in Cornwall (a zone warmer than here) to grow one in her
garden.
Many thanks again.
