re: shrub ID


Jason and Nan,

I don't know the mature height of this plant. I called it a shrub because
I've seen them volunteering in my next door neighbor's yard but the get
yanked before reaching their full height.They grow very easily even after
being cut down.The only one I've seen being cultivated is about 6 feet but
it could grow much taller before it's done for all I know.The juvenile
leaves look decidedly like acacia.The leaves I described are what Jason
implied are the juvenile leaves. Now that I have a species name I'll take a
look on the web for a photo.
