My copy of Flora lists a white variety of J mimosaefolia (the common
Jacaranda) under the name of 'White Christmas' ("Large clusters of white flowers").
I see it also says Jacaranda wood is decorative (though not usually actually cultivated for timber) and is known as Brazilian Rosewood. However Botanica claims the timber with this name is from a different, reularly white-flowered species called J. filicifolia.
As they say "yer pays yer money and takes yer choice" , but you might like to consider that the information in Flora is not only more extensive but 6 years more up to date.
At least they both seem to agree one _can_ have white-flowered Jacaranda.
