Moira, you are
correct, mine was Convolvulus cneorum. Which is referred to as bush
morning glory here in California, I just assumed this was the one being referred
to here After reading the first post more thoroughly, I see that was not
the case. I guess that is why there are botanical names - to
avoid confusing similar plants or different plants with the same
common names. Thanks for clearing this up.
Ken, I did come across this site with someone who
will send seeds for Ipomoea fistulosa -
not sure how old the post is (and not sure about
overseas) - but might be worth a try. If they are growing it in San
Antonio, Texas, it might grow in your location
Ipomoea fistulosa looks like a
plant I might be interested in as it seems to grow much larger than
Convolvulus cneorum.
