[medit-plants] Re: wondering what this plant is

I love this variegated plant.  Hope to introduce it into my garden soon!

Three years ago, I saw the plain green foliage version growing in a garden in Uzes, France.  But among the purple flowers, there were a few that were sporting white!!  and the foliage was a brighter green as well.  Quite interesting.  (see attachments)

I thought it was potato vine at first, but realized that the leaves are not divided, as they would be on S. jasminoides

I believe it is Solanum rantonnetii 'Lynn's Variegated', which seems to be available from Kartuz Greenhouses. The proper name for this species is now Lycianthes rantonnetii.

Hello,

I saw this plant recently and am unsure what it might be.  Does anyone here know?
