Cathleen,

I have two data points that may apply, although they are both California
native bulbs.  My Camassia quamash and Calochortus superbus are all
starting to send out leaves, some already as long as a foot (30 cm). Once
the plants get established they seem to do this as soon as the nights start
getting cool, regardless of rainfall (IMHO).  My guess is that your bulbs
will be OK.
