Hi all! I just joined the list, so I hope I am replying correctly. Do tell
me if not. I just wanted to caution that it is quite hazardous to inhale
diatomaceous earth, because it is sharp and silica to boot, so it's a good
idea to wear a dust mask while distributing it. Keeping it damp helps, too.
Nice to read the letters so far. I look forward to hearing more of what
folks have to say.

ive never used it but i believe its made from Diatoms, small
phytoplankton (and i think zooplankton) that have glasslike silica
shells. I hear it kind of cuts up the pests. Sort of like having glass
powder. - Barry Garcia
