Susan -
Polenta is not really the same - too coarse. Cornmeal is the flour made
from ground corn, and is perhaps half way between wheat flour and polenta.
There are actually various grinds of cornmeal, something you come to find
in our local stores which cater to local gormet officianados. Whatever
you use needs to be small enough for the sowbugs (slaters, woodlice) to
eat easily. Sorry I wasn't more clear previously.
