Welcome to Medit-Plants. This is certainly a good place to pick up
some useful information.

Another source for you would definitely be the Mediterranean Garden
Society, information for which can be found at:

http://www.support.net/Medit-Plants/groups/mgs.html

I just received their latest journal and it is again filled with
interesting bits written by other gardeners in various mediterranean
climates worldwide. The largest concetration of membership is in the
Mediterranean basin itself, especially Greece, so I'm sure you'd be
able to find lots of people local to Corfu. The Society had its
start in that country and still has its 'center' there, even though
it has become truely international with its governing board in various
places (the current president lives in Spain).

Meanwhile, I would encourage all Medit-Plants persons who are not
members to give it a thought. the MGS is rapidly becoming a very
vital and interesting group, with a lot to offer gardeners in the
5 mediterranean climates worldwide.
