Albizzia is a prolific seeder in mild climates but what really shook me up
recently on a visit to the coast from Pt. Lobos north to Santa Cruz, after an
absence of some 20 years, was the presence in the coastal scrub there of
*huge* amounts of Pampas Grass ( Cortaderia). I don't remember it being there
when I lived in the area in the 70's. I was very disturbed. Is there an
erradication program down there?
