Thanks ladies - I will try these methods - I can take some more cuttings
tonight. If cuttings are so difficult, what is the usual method of
propagation for rosemary?

Raelene, have you tried putting a plastic bag over the cuttings?
This
helps keep them from losing water through their leaves before their
roots
grow. Leave a little opening for air circulation, and don't water
too much
or they will mold. I really have found them easy but maybe Julie's
right
that it varies a lot. I do the plastic bag thing with most
cuttings, but
especially the difficult ones.
