Re: Medit-Plants Top Ten List

Hello,
As a newcomer to this list, I read with envy of the many plants you can
grow. I am much more limited - Portland, OR
Besides a border of Germander, Lavander and Santolina that some years
delights by blooming together I have grown from seed a Cytisus battandieri
(Argyocytissus). Although originally from Morocco, Atlas Mountains, I
understand it is comfortable in much of Europe and seems to be doing well
here, although it has not yet gone through a severe winter. It is about
seven years old, about 12 feet, a small tree, still reaching. The leaves
are mostly evergreen, the flowers which cover the tree much like
horsechestnut flowers, are a lovely deep cadmium yellow and smell of
pineapple and guava. The leaves and trunk are also lovely.

I wonder if anyone knows what is the best way to propagate it from cuttings.
It does not send up shoots.

Thanks for any help.
