I think they must be easy to grow from seed - we get seedlings all over the
garden. I am not sure if the seed is delicious fare for the peafowl or the
native birds [we also get Gunneras growing up everywhere and Amelanchier] I
would happily send you a few thousand peafowl but I wouldn't recommend going to
such extremes.
To get these generous gift giving plants we took cuttings from our Town garden
Myrtus and these were so easy to strike that we now have a formal hedge that has
had to be cut once or twice a year, after four years from cuttings
