hi cali,
it looks a lot like strawberry guava. and I can't recall the scientific
at the moment but can look it up tonight when I get home. I think it
is from south america. It is an indestructable weed in hawaii. I can't
believe that when I returned to los angeles, I actually paid money for a
couple of plants that I had helped try destroy in Hawaii. but for a weed,
it is pretty tasty. They are growing in my garden with very little care
except the occasional pruning.
